The @PXGWMPC is designed specifically for the rising star professional player. We’ve designed this tournament as a hybrid stroke play/match play to give you a great playing experience and to provide some variation of theme.
You want to be a Solheim Cup player? Here are some match play reps to get you going. You’ll play a world-class course, be treated to a week of special events and share in a $50,000 purse – plus an equipment/apparel stipend from PXG.
November 1-2
84 players will battle it out in a stroke play qualifier with the top 64 players advancing to the Pod Play Battle Rounds®.
November 4
64-woman Match-Play Championship. Based on your seeding from the stroke play portion, you will be placed into one of 16 groups of four players for round robin Pod Play. You will play three nine hole matches today in a round robin within your pod, playing each other once. Each match has nine points at stake. You’ll play all nine holes, ensuring that you get plenty of golf. The winner of each match will receive a bonus point (so, technically, each match has 10 points at stake). The winner of each group is the player with the most points – not necessarily the best match play record. The player with the most points in her pod advances to the Knockout Rounds,
November 5 Knock Round of 16 & 8
Starting with the Round of 16, you’ll play traditional 18-hole matches. Seed #1 will play Seed #2 and so on. Eight players will advance to the Elite 8.
November 6: Semifinals and Finals
The final four remain. You’ll all play two 18-hole matches today. The morning sessions will feature the four semifinalists squaring off to see who squares off the to be the PXG Women’s Match Play Champion. The runners up in each of those matches will battle for third and fourth place pay checks.

Entry Fees are $699 for all eligible professionals and amateurs.
Players note: 64 players from the stroke pay are guaranteed a spot into the Match Play draw. We are accepting 84 players into the field. If you do not advance to the Match Play portion of the competition, you will be refunded $200.
Meet the Championship Trophy
Made by local non-profit Ocean Sole Africa, this manatee is made of 100% recycled flip flops salvaged from the beaches of Kenya. It rests on a piece of driftwood found on our local Northeast Florida beaches.
There will be a Charity Pro-am on October 31 for 32 professional players for which you will be paid a minimum of $200. Player selection will be available first to returning players from the 2021 Pro-am, followed by alternates from 2021, followed by ECWPGT ranking. All players entered in the PXGWMPC will be invited (free) to the Pro-am Dinner at Murray Brothers Caddyshack on October 30.

As an official event on the East Coast Women’s Professional Golf Tour (@ECWPGT), you’ll see the smiling faces you know and love and be ensured the high quality event and structure you’re used to. You DO NOT have to be an ECWPGT Member to play in the @PXGWMPC.

Entry Criteria
- Entry will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Any female professionals, 15 years or older are eligible.
- You do not need to be an ECWPGT Member to enter the PXGWMPC
- All Epson Tour Members and LPGA Tour Members ranked outside the Top 150 on the Official Money List are eligible. Other LPGA Players are eligibale upon application if returning from medical leave or maternity
- Amateur female golfers 15 years and older, with a USGA handicap below 1.0 may participate on a space-available basis.
- Registration will close at midnight on October 14, 2022
- Applications will be accepted after the close of deadline by email, at mark@pxgwmpc.com
- Cancellations after the registration deadline will be subject to administration and cancellation fees
